Tim Oliver appointed Sales Manager

With over 20 years experience in UK forestry many readers will know Tim, although he’s worn a variety of 'hats' during the period. Initially working as Advertising Manager with Forestry & British Timber magazine (now incorporated into Forestry Journal) and more recently with a competitor tree shelter manufacturer, Tim’s has been a familiar face on the forestry and landscaping 'scene' for the past two decades.

With responsibility to develop UK and overseas sales of the already well established Acorn range of treeshelters, spiral guards, mulch mats and other sundry planting products, Tim is looking forward to getting to grips with his new role. "It’s great to have the opportunity to sell such a wide range of tried and test products" he enthuses, "and the Acorn range really ticks all the boxes, particularly for customers with a genuine aspiration to safeguard tree and shrub planting using environmentally sympathetic products (at reasonable cost of course)".
