We offer a choice of two different types of biodegradable materials: jute/hessian and hybrid jute.   The 'square' design incorporates a letterbox slit in the middle, allowing the mat to be easily placed over small whips.    Acorn's treespat design is the most versatile mat as there is an overlapping slit to one edge allowing it to be placed around larger trees and giving greater weed control.
         
We offer four different designs of pegs to anchoring our mats, providing a range of solutions for different ground conditions and applications.    As well as biodegrading, the two jute products are also manufactured from recycled materials e.g. old coffee bags.
